Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC) is looking for an experienced and driven Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial strategy of a leading diamond producer.

As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial tracking and reporting systems, managing resources effectively, and ensuring sound financial decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the development of annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the operation.
• Take responsibility for cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure the implementation of effective financial tracking and reporting systems.
• Provide timely and reliable financial information and analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Oversee financial reporting and internal control activities within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with financial and accounting policies and procedures, adhering to statutory regulations and global standards.
• Analyze internal operations to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Perform risk management through the analysis of company liabilities.
• Manage cash flow compatibility with operations by overseeing daily accounting and recording.
• Collaborate with the Chief Finance Officer in driving the company’s financial strategy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Finance, Business Studies, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Post-graduate qualification such as an MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CIS, CPA, CA, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a Finance Manager.
• Experience in a mining environment or heavy manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems.
