Our client is looking for talented Welders and Fabricators with expertise in Arc and basic TIG welding techniques, along with basic fabrication skills. As a Welder and Fabricator, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, selecting suitable welding methods, and fabricating metal components according to specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Select appropriate welding techniques, equipment, and materials for each project.
• Perform Arc and basic TIG welding on various metal components, ensuring high-quality welds.
• Conduct visual inspections of welded components to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Use cutting, grinding, and shaping tools to prepare metal surfaces for welding and fabrication.
• Measure and mark metal components accurately for cutting and shaping.
• Utilize fabrication equipment and tools to shape, assemble, and join metal parts.
• Ensure accurate alignment and fitment of fabricated components.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding and fabrication issues as they arise.
• Maintain welding and fabrication equipment in good working condition.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in welding and fabrication techniques.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5 O-level passes.
• Proven experience as a Welder and Fabricator, specializing in Arc and basic TIG welding.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Sound knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Basic fabrication skills, including cutting, grinding, and shaping metal components.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in welding and fabrication work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy metal components when required.
• Relevant welding certifications and qualifications are preferred.
• Traceable references from previous employers or clients.
