A local construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, WestProp Holdings is looking for a skilled Construction Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all construction activities and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all construction activities, ensuring proper planning and timely procurement of construction materials.
  • Collaborate with sub-contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Manage and provide guidance to site foremen and engineers to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Analyze and interpret detailed design submissions related to civil and structural works, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Conduct routine construction supervision to monitor progress and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Attend site meetings and maintain accurate site records of activities and progress.
  • Liaise with engineers and architects to accurately determine project specifications and requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with staff at all levels, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and high-quality standards.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the planning and implementation phases of projects.
  • Work both in an office and on construction sites, providing guidance and leadership to project teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Manager in the industry.
  • Relevant qualifications and affiliation with a recognized professional board.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
