Volsec Security is looking for highly motivated and results-driven Freelance Sales/Marketing Representatives to join our dynamic team. As a Freelance Sales/Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for actively seeking and engaging customer prospects in the assigned locations of Mutare (2), Rusape (1), Nyanga (1), and Chipinge (2).

Your role will involve sourcing new sales opportunities, closing sales to achieve set targets, and contributing to the growth and management of our customer base. Reporting to the Business Development Officer, you will have the opportunity to negotiate with clients, generate leads, and manage the sales of our products and services. This is a commission-based position with great prospects for growth within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for sales of security services tailored exclusively to the client’s needs.
  • Develop an annual business plan in collaboration with the Business Development Officer, outlining activities to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Assist in the implementation of the company’s marketing plans as needed.
  • Coordinate all promotional, marketing, and advertising activities within the assigned area.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and targets.
  • Stay up to date on company’s best prices, policies, products, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and report potential collaborators and competitor activities, identifying any business threats and opportunities within the assigned area.
  • Assist in developing innovative strategies to retain clients.
  • Manage social media and website content to enhance brand visibility.
  • Utilize various customer sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling, and presentations to “get the sale.”
  • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Evaluate customers’ requirements, needs, and build productive long-lasting relationships.
  • Attend meetings, sales events, and trainings to stay abreast of the latest developments.
  • Maintain and expand the client database within the assigned territory.
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the needs of the audience.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Work experience as a Sales Representative will be an added advantage.
