Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, databases, and software applications.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the bank’s sensitive data and information.
• Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps that align with the bank’s business goals and objectives.
• Oversee IT budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective solutions and optimal utilization of technology investments.
• Identify and mitigate IT risks that could impact the bank’s operations or reputation.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team, fostering collaboration and a culture of innovation.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance the bank’s IT capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in IT governance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in the IT field, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Masters in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• 7 years of professional experience in a Bank ICT department.
• At least 3 years of management experience in a reputable organization.
