EmpowerBank Limited is looking for a diligent and experienced Auditor – ICT & Internal Control to join our team. As an Auditor – ICT & Internal Control, you will be responsible for conducting risk-based internal audits, examining operational practices, and enhancing financial and risk management processes within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits of information and communication technology (ICT) controls, assessing their design and operational effectiveness, and identifying potential risks.
• Evaluate systems and network security to identify and address any breaches or vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate, plan, and execute IT audit activities, ensuring compliance with audit standards and guidelines.
• Identify critical risks and provide recommendations and guidance on security and control measures.
• Perform internal control audits as per the approved audit plan, including compliance, financial, operational, and value for money audits.
• Prepare audit working files and draft audit reports based on the findings of the audit assignments.
• Compile supporting documents for all audit findings and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address identified risks and implement corrective measures.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in ICT and internal control auditing.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to enhance internal governance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in ICT is a prerequisite for this role.
• Possession of a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification is required.
• A clean driver’s license is necessary.
• Experience working in a financial institution is an added advantage.
• A minimum of two years of working experience as an ICT Auditor is mandatory.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform both ICT audits and internal audits (non-IT).
