As a Gardener or Groundskeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the outdoor spaces surrounding the dry cleaning facility. Your responsibilities will include planting, cultivating, and caring for various plants, ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the premises, and performing general grounds maintenance tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plant, cultivate, water, and propagate vegetable plants, shrubs, hedges, and flowers around the dry cleaning facility.
• Prepare and treat soil for planting, ensuring optimal growing conditions for plants.
• Fertilize and care for lawns, including mowing, edging, and watering.
• Trim hedges, shrubs, and trees to maintain their appearance and shape.
• Perform weeding, hoeing, and raking leaves to keep the premises clean and well-maintained.
• Maintain and organize gardening supplies, tools, and equipment in a safe and proper working condition.
• Collaborate with the cleaning staff to ensure a clean and pleasant environment for customers.
• Schedule and prioritize grounds maintenance and gardening tasks based on weather conditions and timing.
• Utilize appropriate pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals for pest and weed control as assigned.
• Safely handle and store chemicals according to regulations and guidelines.
• Perform general shopping errands related to gardening supplies and equipment as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the outdoor areas surrounding the dry cleaning facility.
• Follow company policies and procedures for safety, environmental practices, and waste management.
• Communicate effectively with the team members and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Assist in training and guiding junior gardeners or groundskeepers as needed.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve the landscaping and gardening practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping.
• Strong knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques.
• Familiarity with various gardening tools and equipment.
• Ability to identify and address common plant diseases and pests.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
