Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC) is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Resource and Production Geology Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As the Resource and Production Geology Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the exploration, evaluation, and production processes of diamond mineral resources.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct resource and reserve modelling and estimation activities.
• Develop and implement resource management procedures to optimize resource utilization.
• Enhance resource estimation techniques and ensure their successful implementation.
• Perform modelling and calculation of global ore resources in line with industry standards.
• Monitor and maintain quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) data and procedures.
• Implement and oversee grade control and reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of geological data.
• Provide technical guidance and support to geology staff.
• Stay updated with international mineral resources reporting guidelines and standards (SAMREC, JORC) for accurate ore resource modelling.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on ore resources in accordance with company and international standards.
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) management systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Geology or equivalent qualification.
• Additional qualification in Ore Modelling is an advantage.
• Registration with a professional body such as SACNASP, SAIMM is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in Ore Resource Management and Production Geology.
• Proficiency in using geological modelling software, such as Surpac or Leap Frog.
• Familiarity with international mineral resources reporting guidelines and standards (SAMREC, JORC).
• Strong knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems.
