Lobel’s Bread (Private) Limited is looking for a diligent and experienced Security Controller to join their dynamic team in Harare. As the Security Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the company’s assets and information.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, monitoring security systems, and investigating security incidents. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard organizational assets and information.
• Conduct security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
• Evaluate and recommend security products and technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
• Monitor security systems to detect and prevent security breaches and incidents.
• Investigate security incidents and breaches, identifying root causes and recommending remedial actions.
• Deliver security awareness training sessions to improve employees’ understanding of security risks and best practices.
• Perform random checks on deployed security guards to monitor their alertness and ensure compliance.
• Conduct periodic security surveys and assessments across the business.
• Develop and enforce security systems, policies, and procedures necessary for monitoring CCTVs and managing access control systems.
• Prepare and submit regular security risk reports to senior management, keeping them informed of potential threats and recommending countermeasures.
• Implement measures to identify syndicate-related crimes through efficient intelligence gathering.
• Participate in internal disciplinary and court procedures as required.
• Evaluate internal security systems, identify inappropriate security controls, and recommend updates and improvements to procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Security Management, Police & Security Studies, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in security management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong surveillance, investigative, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems.
• Hold a valid Class 4 Driver’s License.
