Job Description

Our client, a start-up in the construction and development industry, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Consultant to join our dynamic team.

As a Project Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing projects in the construction and development sector. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring the successful completion of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our clients’ success and make a significant impact in the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop the project scope and objectives, engaging relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with the development manager and construction teams to ensure the delivered work aligns with the defined deliverables.
  • Ensure timely project delivery, adhering to the agreed-upon scope and allocated budget.
  • Create a detailed project plan to track and monitor project progress effectively.
  • Utilize appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, scheduling, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using relevant systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Conduct risk management activities to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports and status updates.
  • Report project progress and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Development, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the Development sector.
  • Project Management Certification is an added advantage.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in property development.
  • Proficient in fundamental project management processes, methodologies, tools, and techniques, adapting them to the organization’s needs.
  • Understanding of formal and informal organizational structures.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Project Management tools.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments, managing stakeholder expectations during ongoing change.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
