Our client, a local fuel company, is looking for a skilled and motivated Fuel Attendant to join their dynamic team.

As a Fuel Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring accurate fuel dispensing, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Dispense fuel to customers’ vehicles, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance of fuel dispensing equipment.
  • Monitor fuel levels and promptly report any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fuel station, including the forecourt, pumps, and restrooms.
  • Process payment transactions accurately and efficiently, following established procedures.
  • Provide customers with receipts and accurate information on fuel prices and promotions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests, resolving issues promptly and courteously.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to maintain adequate fuel inventory levels.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting fuel sales and inventory data.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 O-Level passes, including Mathematics.
  • Certificate in Marketing, Accounting, or Business Studies.
  • Basic computer skills to operate fuel dispensing and payment systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the fuel sector, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in fuel dispensing and record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the fuel industry.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting.
