Job Description

An opportunity for Virtual Assistants has arisen within our company. Go Formal Innolutions Africa, whose Head Office is in Harare, Zimbabwe, is seeking applications from experienced and highly motivated professionals to join our team as virtual assistants. We are hiring for the following role:

Chief Operations Officer

This is a virtual position. We are looking to hire a visionary COO to oversee our company’s operational processes, and to ensure a superb customer experience. The COO will optimize our company’s operating capabilities, employ strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, and manage marketing initiatives. The COO will assist in compiling the company’s budget, and employ strategies to safeguard assets and stock. You will compile financial reports, and control financial policies and procedures. You will team up with management to implement business strategies.

Chief Operations Officer Responsibilities:

  • Working together with key participants to compile the budget.
  • Spearheading strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.
  • Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
  • Controlling company costs, and introducing tactical initiatives to address theft and other losses.
  • Monitoring invoices, money handling procedures, accounting, and bank processes.
  • Preparing timely and accurate financial performance reports.
  • Overseeing marketing initiatives and implementing better business practices.
  • Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.
  • Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities.
  • Completing performance reviews in a prudent manner.
  • Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.


  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Availability to work beyond working hours in your time zone.

Screening Process:

  • We will screen all CVs for unique aspects by 4 May 2023, and then invite shortlisted personnel for a two-day training and onboarding session.

Skills Role Matching:

  • After the training and onboarding session, we will take a week to two weeks to do our skills role matching, where we will place our successful candidates to work with our clients, providing specialist admin support.
