Join our team and help us empower individuals through training and development. EmpowerBank is looking for a Training Officer who will be responsible for conducting trainings within the organization.

If you have the IPMZ Training Management qualification, a minimum of two years of professional experience in conducting trainings, and knowledge and understanding of the Monitoring and Evaluation process (which is an added advantage), we invite you to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to employees and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Create training materials, including presentations, handouts, and e-learning modules.
  • Facilitate training sessions using effective instructional techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to trainees to enhance their learning experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training programs align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • IPMZ Training Management qualification is a pre-requisite.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in conducting trainings.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Monitoring and Evaluation process is an added advantage.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to adapt training approaches to meet diverse learning styles.
  • Proficiency in training program design and development.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality training.
