Old Windsor Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher for the Infant Department to join their dynamic team.

As a Teacher in the Infant Department, you will play a vital role in providing quality education and care to young children. Remuneration details are not provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young children.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities.
  • Foster the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of students.
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies and techniques to facilitate learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
  • Implement and uphold school policies and procedures.
  • Create a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated with current educational trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Holder of a diploma in Education or Early Childhood Education.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position at a recognized private school.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and pedagogical approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
