Job Description
Parrogate Zimbabwe (PVT) Ltd is a leading manufacturer and distributor of tissue and hygiene products in Zimbabwe.
The company is seeking a highly skilled Stores Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of their stores.
The Stores Manager will be responsible for managing the stores operations, including inventory management, stock control, and logistics.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the stores operations, including inventory management, stock control, and logistics
- Managing the dispatch of finished goods and ensuring that SOPs are followed.
- Responsible for procuring, issuing, safe keeping and stock management of raw materials.
- Ensuring accurate and timely stock management and control
- Ensuring that all raw materials received meet required specifications and are of right quantity and quality.
- Developing and implementing inventory management policies and procedures
- Coordinating and overseeing the movement of goods in and out of the stores
- Conducting regular stock takes to ensure the accuracy of inventory records
- Managing and supervising stores personnel
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and logistics providers
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Providing regular reports to management on stores operations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent
- Professional qualifications e.g CIPS an added advantage
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position
- Good communication and negotiating skills
- Ability to work with minimum or no supervision
