St Anne’s Hospital is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Stores Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a Stores Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our hospital’s inventory and supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and sign for all deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and verification.
  • Conduct thorough checks of incoming stock against corresponding purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Accountant to promptly report any shortages or damages within designated time frames.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness within the storeroom, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Properly store and label all received stock in accordance with required standards.
  • Update and maintain a stock register, recording all incoming and outgoing items accurately.
  • Monitor stock expiry dates and arrange proper storage accordingly.
  • Coordinate fumigation procedures for the storeroom to maintain cleanliness and prevent infestations.
  • Prepare outgoing consignments, ensuring accurate packaging and documentation.
  • Dispatch consignments efficiently, coordinating with relevant departments or external parties.
  • Generate requisitions for restocking based on inventory needs and consumption patterns.
  • Conduct monthly and annual stock takes to reconcile physical stock with records.
  • Maintain comprehensive inventory records and files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 O’ Levels, including Mathematics.
  • Hold a certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Have 1 to 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exhibit proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
  • Show a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within a team environment.
