CMED Private Limited is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Secretary/Receptionist to join the company’s dynamic team in Bulawayo. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and providing administrative support to various departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive all telephone calls in a timely manner, following professional best practices.
  • Ensure courteous routing of calls from the public, clients, and staff members.
  • Direct clients to the required staff members in a harmonious and respectful manner.
  • Type all correspondences from management and staff.
  • Control the movement of correspondences until they reach the originator.
  • Take minutes during management meetings.
  • Book appointments for the Regional Manager.
  • Maintain a diary for the Regional Manager’s appointments and other business schedules.
  • Receive visitors and direct them to relevant offices.
  • Keep the reception area neat and tidy.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist in organizing company events and meetings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure inventory is maintained.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 “O” level passes, including Mathematics and English language.
  • Hold a Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of International Computer Driving License (ICDL) will be an added advantage.
  • Have 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
