Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the IT sector in Harare, is seeking a Sales Representative to join their sales team. With a commitment to delivering innovative IT solutions to their clients, our client offers a dynamic and supportive work environment where employees can thrive and contribute to the company’s growth.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, and promoting the company’s products and services. Relevant qualifications, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales position, are required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the IT sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable IT solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements with clients.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Familiarity with IT products and services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
