Job Description

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, meeting or exceeding sales goals, negotiating contracts with prospective clients, and delivering sales presentations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generates leads to identify potential customers and expand the customer base.
  • Meets or exceeds sales goals by effectively promoting and selling products/services.
  • Negotiates all contracts with prospective clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Helps determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports to track sales activities and performance.
  • Gives compelling sales presentations to a diverse range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinates sales efforts with marketing programs to maximize effectiveness.
  • Understands and promotes company programs, products, and services to customers.
  • Obtains deposits and balances of payment from clients in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepares and submits sales contracts for orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Visits clients and potential clients to evaluate needs, provide product information, and promote products and services.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date client records to facilitate effective customer relationship management.
  • Answers client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, preferably within the industry.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and meeting deadlines.
