As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales revenue, building strong client relationships, and maximizing product awareness within the assigned territory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and achieve set targets within the assigned territory.
  • Attend to all aspects of the trade for all customers, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Generate and process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports in a timely manner.
  • Conduct sales calls, including traveling to assigned territories, to engage with customers and promote products.
  • Implement effective customer relationship management strategies, including key account management.
  • Discuss and resolve branch-specific issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor adherence to trade agreements and payments with key accounts.
  • Supervise merchandisers, providing support and monitoring planogram enforcement.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels and a diverse product range.
  • Maintain product presentation standards, including pricing and space allocation.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in the market and provide recommendations to the business.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to stay informed about the market landscape.
  • Plan and participate in business reviews with key customers in your portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to contribute to overall marketing intelligence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Sales & Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in FMCG/Distribution Sales, with experience in selling perishables being an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • High interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Self-driven, curious, and a critical thinker.
  • Ability to handle pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Clean Class 4 Driver’s license.
