Job Description

FBC Health is looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Officer to join their team. As a Sales Officer, you will be responsible for scanning the market and identifying opportunities through market intelligence and networking.

Your role will involve liaising with key stakeholders, creating a network of sales agents, and closing sales deals to drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your strong selling skills and contribute to the success of FBC Health’s portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scan the market to identify potential opportunities using market intelligence and your professional network.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders from other strategic business units (SBUs) to facilitate cross-selling on major clients.
  • Establish a network of sales agents on a commission basis to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Manage sales agents, including contracting, compliance, remuneration, and target setting.
  • Proactively engage in sales activities to positively impact the performance of FBC Health’s portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager to close sales deals effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to correct onboarding procedures in collaboration with the membership and administration team.
  • Facilitate the handover of relevant contacts to the Key Account Manager for post-sales service.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities for review and assessment of the conversion rate by sales agents.
  • Provide valuable feedback on market dynamics to assist in product design and improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Business-related degree.
  • Professional qualification in sales preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling financial services products.

Competence and Skills:

  • Strong selling skills, including excellent presentation abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills to drive successful deals.
  • Analytical mindset to assess market trends and make informed decisions.
