Midlands State University (MSU) is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Officer to join its dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to promote the university’s programs and expand its reach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive enrollment growth and promote MSU’s programs.
  • Identify and target potential students and stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and student preferences.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to prospective students and their families.
  • Provide information and guidance to prospective students regarding admission requirements, academic programs, and campus life.
  • Collaborate with academic departments and faculty members to effectively communicate and market the university’s offerings.
  • Plan and coordinate recruitment events, including open houses, campus tours, and information sessions.
  • Utilize various marketing channels, including digital platforms, social media, and print materials, to enhance brand visibility and attract students.
  • Monitor and analyze enrollment data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase conversion rates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in educational policies, and market demands to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Marketing Management or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Marketing Management is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in the higher education sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving enrollment growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with students, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
