The construction company is looking for an accomplished Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for implementing strategic business plans that facilitate the expansion of the customer base and drive sales growth.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a sales team, achieve sales targets, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department. In addition, the successful candidate will enjoy a competitive remuneration package and various incentives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and achieve sales objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to maximize their potential and enhance overall performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate revenue and foster business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of projects.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify areas for improvement and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and provide reports on sales performance, market insights, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing structures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and construction trends to remain at the forefront of the market.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, while adhering to relevant legal requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Marketing or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar sales management role within the construction industry.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, market dynamics, and customer behaviour.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
  • Possession of a clean Class 4 driver’s license.
