Job Description

Our client, a reputable hospitality company with operations in Victoria Falls and Harare, is seeking to hire four Sales Consultants. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, our client has established itself as a leader in the hospitality industry. They pride themselves on providing a wide range of services and amenities, catering to the diverse needs of their esteemed guests.

As a Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling the company’s hospitality services in Victoria Falls and Harare. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry is required for this role. A degree in marketing or an IMM diploma is essential to ensure a solid understanding of sales and marketing principles. Remuneration, allowances, and other incentives will be discussed during the selection process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the company’s services.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and expand the client base.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target markets.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and stay informed about new offerings and enhancements.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the management team to drive business growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in sales or business development roles.
  • A degree in marketing or an IMM diploma is a must.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility to travel between Victoria Falls and Harare as required.
