Job Description
Our Client, a large manufacturing and retail organisation that is a growing International Business is now looking for a Sales / Business Development Manager to join the Team.
The role will take responsibility for maintaining the current business and bringing new clients on board to assist the business with future expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Sales or Business Development within the fertilizer industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field would be beneficial but industry experience is more essential.
