They maintain a state-of-the-art facility and adhere to stringent standards to ensure the production and distribution of fresh and hygienic meat products.

The abattoir and butchery company is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales and Marketing Representative to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract in Turf-Mhondoro Ngezi area.

The Sales and Marketing Representative will play a vital role in generating leads, driving sales, and expanding the company’s customer base. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet set sales targets as established by management.
  • Efficiently and effectively utilize resources, including time and trip scheduling.
  • Generate an increased percentage of sales from new customers.
  • Ensure zero tolerance for customer complaints, promptly responding to and resolving any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accountability and upkeep of all branch records and assets.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and develop targeted marketing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and understanding their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to management on sales performance and market insights.
  • Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Assist in the development of sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Support the team in achieving overall sales objectives and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical business practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Degree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field from a reputable institution.
  • At least two years of relevant working experience, preferably in a sales role within the retail or food industry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven, with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to work with and meet strict deadlines, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
  • Possession of a clean Class 4 Driver’s License.
