Applicants should  ideally have great experience and qualifications in sales and marketing with strong IT acumen (especially Excel), ability
to create and interpret reports, proven effectiveness at managing a team, and great people skills


  • Responsible for all retail, wholesale, food service, and direct sales working closely with the GM
  • Daily interaction with the sale team ( sales representatives and telesales ) in each sector, wholesale, retail, and food service
  • Facilitate meetings with Head Office Retail Buyers for listings, price changes, promos etc along with the retail administrator.
  • Facilitate quarterly reviews with ALL key customers in conjunction with the respective sale representative
  • Manage Pricing and promotions with ALL customers — this includes but is not limited to menu listings, weekly/monthly
    promotions instore / restaurants and hotels et
  • Increase distribution and brand awareness nationwide in conjunction with principals
  • Submit a weekly sales report to the GM.
  • Conducting tasting events, product launches, promotion campaigns and chain-level promotions
  • Develop strong relationships with current and new principals.
  • Be responsible for all social media campaigns
  • Create marketing communications, such as advertising, public relations, social media, promotions and other marketing
    techniques to help sell product
  • Set annual budgets and track achievements by extracting the sales information from the ERP
    Daily Sales Report, tracking progress against Budget (GPS, GP%, Volume & Turnover)
  • Check 0% Sales into Customers and run GP analysis report daily.
  • Run weekly debtors meetings so as to be aware of pending account problems in conjunction with the GM
    Run weekly procurement meetings to be informed of stock levels and sale trends and have the ability to react should trends change in conjunction with the GM,
  • Prep for Monthly Management Meetings and Quarterly Reports.
  • You will be expected to take part in the company’s stock take as everyone does.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a sales and marketing manager or experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong IT acumen (especially Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and results-driven
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and practices, including lead generation, relationship building, and sales presentations
