Air Zimbabwe is looking for a meticulous and experienced Safety Auditor to join our Corporate, Quality, Safety, and Security Department. As a Safety Auditor, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s safety program and environmental management system.

Conducting safety and quality audits, promoting a safe working culture, and participating in incident/accident investigations will be the core responsibilities of this role. Join our team and contribute to upholding Air Zimbabwe’s commitment to safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the organization’s safety program and environmental management system.
• Receive safety reports from all operational areas and compile them into the safety database.
• Collect and distribute safety data to promote safety in all operational areas.
• Promote a safe working culture within the organization.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation programs to reduce the risk profile to an acceptable level.
• Conduct safety and quality audits in the operational areas of Air Zimbabwe.
• Conduct or participate in incident/accident investigations.
• Act as a resource person during Safety Action Group (SAG) meetings.
• Prepare and implement a safety and quality audit program.
• Ensure compliance with Air Navigations Regulations, State Safety Programme, ICAO, EASA, IOSA, ISAGO, and airworthiness requirements relevant to Air Zimbabwe’s operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have a formal qualification within the operational departments of Air Zimbabwe (Private) Limited, such as Aircraft Maintenance, Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Cabin Operations, Cargo Operations, Dispatch, or Security.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the operational areas of their specialty.
• Proficient in Air Navigations Regulations, State Safety Programme, ICAO, EASA, IOSA, ISAGO, and airworthiness requirements relevant to Air Zimbabwe’s operations.
• Computer literate with strong analytical and systematic skills.
• Familiarity with Air Zimbabwe (Private) Limited’s organizational procedures.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
