Job Description

A local real estate company in Harare is seeking a Properties and Administration Clerk to join its team. With a strong presence in the real estate sector, the company is dedicated to providing exceptional property management services, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.

The company is looking for a proactive and dynamic Properties and Administration Clerk to join its team. As a Properties and Administration Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations by handling various administrative tasks.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary, which will be disclosed during the interview process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the smooth operation of the fleet of operational vehicles, including licensing, tracking service condition, repairs, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage.
  • Process and administer tenants’ lease agreements and documentation under the allocated portfolio.
  • Prepare detailed rent receivables and age analysis reports, and follow up on any outstanding rental income.
  • Timely process day-to-day administrative payment requisitions in coordination with other departments and service providers.
  • Maintain and update the company’s fixed assets register in collaboration with finance, estates, and other departments.
  • Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
  • Supervise general hands and ensure their adherence to established procedures.
  • Perform general administrative functions to ensure uninterrupted flow of business.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 ‘O’ Level subjects.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Administration, Properties, or Sales.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
