Nova Feeds is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Officer to join their dynamic team. As a Quality Control Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality standards. This role offers competitive remuneration, allowances, and other incentives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming raw materials to verify their quality.
- Perform quality checks during the production process to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Utilize various testing methods and equipment to assess product quality.
- Document and analyze test results, and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to establish and maintain quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Train and educate staff on quality control processes and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control systems.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement to enhance product quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry or Food Science or another relevant field.
- 5 years of experience working in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Appreciation of HATCHERY OR LIVE BIRDS Production will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and statistical analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using quality control tools and software.
