Verify Engineering is looking for two talented Process Design Engineers to join our dynamic team in Harare. As a Process Design Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research, developing and evaluating processes, designing plant layouts, selecting equipment, and providing technical support to ensure efficient and effective process operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and feasibility studies to identify process requirements and objectives.
- Design and develop innovative process solutions for various industries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and optimize process designs.
- Select and specify appropriate equipment and materials for process implementation.
- Prepare detailed process specifications and documentation.
- Oversee the erection, commissioning, and startup of process plants.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for process-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the design and implementation phases.
- Conduct process audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in process engineering.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in process design and engineering.
- Registration with a Professional Engineering Board is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent technical skills and proficiency in process design software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to industry best practices.
