Job Description
Zimbabwe Power Company is the leading Generator of electrical energy in Zimbabwe and supplies the bulk of the nation’s electrical power requirements from its five power stations. The company is inviting suitably qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the following positions based at Kariba South Power Station
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages the execution of planned, preventive & corrective maintenance to meet set plant availability and reliability
- Executes plant outage programmes & statutory inspections
- Implements specified planned station projects
- Staff management and development
- Ensures compliance to intergrated management systems (MIS) in the Maintenanca section
- Supervises Maintenance sections (Mechanical, Electrical, Control, Civil & Garage)
Qualifications and Experience
- A Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Equivalent
- Membership of a Recognised Professional Institution
- 6 years relevant experience of which 3 years should be at a Senior level
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
