Job Description

A local company is looking for a skilled Plumber to join their dynamic team. As a Plumber, you will play a vital role in new plumbing installations, maintaining existing plumbing infrastructure, and providing expert advice on various plumbing issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install new plumbing systems and fixtures, including pipes, valves, faucets, and toilets.
  • Maintain and repair existing plumbing infrastructure, including water and sewer lines.
  • Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Advise on septic tanks, soak-aways, water connections, and stay up-to-date with new plumbing trends.
  • Install building drainage, gutters, roof flashing, and other related plumbing components.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing requirements are met during building projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent or address plumbing problems.
  • Respond to emergency plumbing situations promptly and resolve them efficiently.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possess at least 5 O’level passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Hold a Class 1 Journeyman in Plumbing and Drain-laying.
  • A Diploma/HND in Plumbing and Drain-laying would be an added advantage.
  • Have a minimum of five years of relevant working experience in the plumbing field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
