Our client is looking for a diligent Pharmacy Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of the company.

Your responsibilities will include data collection for reporting and ordering purposes, maintaining accurate inventory, managing stock, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient functioning of a leading pharmaceutical organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect data for reporting and ordering purposes, ensuring timely production of required reports.
  • Maintain full control over the delivery, stocking, and labeling of medicines and other products.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies, ensuring proper inventory management.
  • Count stock and enter data in the computer and stock cards to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Manage stock in compliance with regulatory requirements, including conducting regular stock takes.
  • Undertake Pharmaceutical Wholesale activities in alignment with the philosophy of AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
  • Manage drug licensing and ensure compliance with general legal and national pharmaceutical warehouse regulations.
  • Supervise and manage warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Efficiently organize the storage of pharmaceutical products in the warehouse, adhering to regulatory storage requirements.
  • Utilize outstanding knowledge of MS Office and Pharmacy information systems to support daily operations.
  • Promote teamwork, maintain good interpersonal relations, and facilitate effective communication among staff members.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Pharmacy technician diploma and/or Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology.
  • Certification in ART, Ol’s (Opportunistic Infections and Long-Term Antiretroviral Therapy), and Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a pharmacy, preferably with ARV and Ol medications.
  • Registration by the Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe and in good standing.
