Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive revenue on behalf of the organization, accurately recording transactions and providing receipts.
- Guide and assist customers in finding available parking spaces within the designated area.
- Ensure compliance with parking regulations and enforce proper parking procedures.
- Monitor parking areas for any unauthorized vehicles or activities and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude when interacting with customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the parking facilities.
- Assist with managing parking equipment, such as ticket machines or parking barriers, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve conflicts or disputes related to parking spaces, utilizing effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Provide directions and assistance to customers regarding nearby amenities or points of interest.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures to protect vehicles and prevent theft or damage.
- Stay updated on relevant parking regulations and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 Ordinary Level passes.
- 1 year of experience as a Cashier, preferably in a customer service-oriented role.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate revenue collection and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Basic knowledge of parking procedures and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle parking-related issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties that may involve standing or walking for extended periods.
