Job Description
With a proven track record spanning several years, A prominent engineering company seeks a highly organized Office Administrator to join their busy administrative support team.
The company is a leading systems integrator known for quality engineering and support services. Their diverse team of specialists prioritize sustainable practices and client satisfaction.
In this fast-paced role, the successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations, provide financial support and ensure seamless client services. Problem-solving, efficiency and attention to detail are a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee general office administration including documentation and supplies
- Handle incoming/outgoing correspondence and service requests
- Process purchase orders, invoices and file project documents
- Maintain accounting records, track budgets and prepare reports
- Coordinate vendor services, facilities maintenance and IT resources
- Schedule meetings, events and assist with travel logistics
- Develop and maintain filing systems and databases
- Provide administrative backup to project managers as needed
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative support role
- Excellent written, verbal and financial skills with an aptitude for figures
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Highly organized with strong time management abilities
- Exceptional communication and problem solving orientation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
