Population Solutions for Health (PSH) is looking for five compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aides to join the company’s dynamic team. As a Nurse aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the availability of sterile packs for medical procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Damping and dusting all rooms in the facility using recommended disinfectant.
  • Ensuring consultation rooms are clean at all times by preparing beds, sluicing linen, cleaning windows, and mopping the floor.
  • Collecting and sorting used/dirty instruments and linen from different consultation rooms.
  • Processing instruments according to set guidelines.
  • Maintaining the accurate strength of disinfection solutions.
  • Disinfecting, cleaning, and drying the instruments.
  • Preparing linen and dressing towels for processing sterile packs.
  • Collecting and sorting dirty/used linen from the consultation rooms.
  • Soaking soiled linen in sodium hypochlorite.
  • Washing, cleaning, ironing, folding, and packing linen in the linen cupboard.
  • Maintaining the color coding system, including bin liners and sharp containers.
  • Packing and autoclaving procedure packs and accessories.
  • Making sterile packs according to specifications and labeling them with the name, date, and sign.
  • Autoclaving different packs according to the autoclaving machine’s specifications.
  • Distributing sterile packs in different service areas based on requirements.
  • Opening offices every morning and checking for evidence of break-ins.
  • Cleaning toilets and ensuring all toiletries are provided.
  • Preparing tea and coffee as requested.
  • Banking all cash and delivering mail within town.
  • Relieving the Receptionist when required.
  • Reporting any damages to the building, equipment, and furniture.
  • Loading and offloading equipment and goods from vehicles.
  • Photocopying site forms and other stationery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5 O levels.
  • 1 year of relevant working experience.
  • Nurse Aide Training.
  • Good communication skills.
