Thathile Investments T/ATurk Mine is looking for a skilled and experienced Mine Surveyor to join our dynamic team. As a Mine Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate surveying and mapping of the underground mine.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct precise underground surveys and measurements using advanced surveying equipment.
- Create and maintain accurate maps, plans, and sections of the mine workings.
- Collaborate with mining engineers and geologists to provide surveying support for mine planning and design.
- Establish and maintain control networks for accurate positioning and alignment of mining activities.
- Monitor and report on mine progress, highlighting any deviations from planned surveying activities.
- Assist in the preparation of mining plans and production schedules.
- Conduct volumetric calculations of stockpiles, ore reserves, and waste dumps.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Train and mentor junior surveying staff.
- Continuously update and improve surveying techniques and methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Mine Surveying from Zimbabwe School of Mines or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of underground experience in a gold mining environment.
- Membership in the Mine Surveyors Professional Association/Institute.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Proficiency in using surveying software and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate good leadership skills.
- Exceptional integrity and commitment to safety.
