Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and certified Medical Laboratory Scientist who will be carrying out and performing tests on blood, tissues and other samples taken from patients at our clinical laboratories in Masvingo. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting patient samples to help doctors diagnose diseases, monitor treatment plans, and determine the best course of action.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs diagnostic testing procedures on instrumentation, analyses the results in one or more sections of the laboratory and interacts with pathologists on technical matters to provide relevant data that may pertain to the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of diseases
- Records, and verifies test results to ensure the integrity of the test result database on LIMS
QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical Laboratory Sciences Degree
- Medical Laboratory and Clinical Scientis Council Registration and valid practising certificate
- Ability to handle work-related pressure
- Attention to detail
