As a Marketing and Public Relations Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the creation and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns for the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of IPMZ while gaining valuable experience in marketing and public relations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Support the marketing calendar of events, including conventions, symposiums, seminars, dinners, promotions, exhibitions, product launches, workshops, and fundraising activities.
  • Undertake market research to identify target groups and establish the most effective ways to reach them.
  • Coordinate and communicate the member value proposition through the organization’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/questionnaires.
  • Assist in organizing promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns.
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.
  • Write and edit marketing literature, such as brochures and newsletters, to enhance the company’s market presence.
  • Demonstrate digital marketing skills and utilize marketing computer software and online applications effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to contribute to the overall marketing strategy and achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Marketing/Business Management or relevant field.
  • A Digital Marketing qualification is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software, and online applications.
  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant in the service industry.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to write high-quality research reports and articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
  • Demonstrable ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
