Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics activities related to Tittle II commodities, collaborating with the supply chain team and programming staff.
  • Identify challenges in supply chain management and provide recommendations to address them effectively.
  • Support the implementation of delivery operations for Tittle II commodities, adhering to CRS and donor regulations, as well as international and local supply chain standards.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely receipt of purchase requisitions and adherence to specifications, delivery schedules, and other terms and conditions.
  • Provide coaching and support to CRS, partner staff, and communities, ensuring accurate and transparent implementation of Tittle II commodity logistics processes.
  • Coordinate and supervise activities concerning Tittle II commodity receipt, transportation, distribution, and disposal, liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all logistics activities and ensure accurate reporting as per distribution requirements.
  • Review warehouse commodity management procedures and internal control systems to minimize misappropriation risk and irregularities.
  • Support the design and facilitation of training programs to enhance the capacity of CRS, partners, and communities in handling and storing Tittle II commodities.
  • Assist in the closeout of monitoring findings and coordinate action plans to address audit findings specific to Tittle II commodities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. Professional certification(s) in supply chain management is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement management, preferably within an international NGO.
  • Sound knowledge of political dynamics, infrastructure, market dynamics, and relevant laws and regulations.
