PTRSERVE Investments is looking for a motivated Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in our organization by generating new business, evaluating client needs, and providing appropriate loan products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct marketing, research, and sales initiatives to generate new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate client profiles and recommend suitable loan products based on their financial requirements.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers, monitoring loan utilization, servicing, and progress according to the applicant’s business model.
  • Follow up with clients in arrears, updating credit files and records accordingly.
  • Monitor the performance of the loan book and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing walk-in customers’ queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Process loan applications, ensuring all required documents meet the necessary standards.
  • Accurately capture client details in the system to maintain accurate records.
  • Timely submission of processed applications to the Disbursement desk, meeting company turnaround time frames.
  • Receive and process payments from clients, ensuring accurate balancing of the Cash Teller account.
  • Update the bank balance tracker for cash received and paid out.
  • Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and provide regular feedback to management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of microfinance products and services.
  • Strong customer focus, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Proven experience in the financial industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
