Our client, a prominent Material Science Engineering manufacturing company, is seeking a highly efficient and motivated Internal Sales Representative to join their team.
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships. Join their organization and contribute to their ongoing success in providing cutting-edge solutions to their clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly sales reports, providing updates on customer needs, market trends, and emerging issues to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Coordinate sales efforts with the Sales and Marketing team and other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Generate accurate quotations and fiscalised invoices for customers utilizing the company’s designated systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to clients, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Perform timely and accurate data entries in the Pastel system, following established accounting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and policies, maintaining transparency and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in customers, offering product knowledge and personalized recommendations tailored to their requirements.
- Maintain and update the physical customer database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer information.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Generate and maintain a daily sales register, recording all sales activities for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Conduct cold calls to new and prospective clients, showcasing the company’s products and services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
- Proficient knowledge of the Pastel system will be advantageous.
- An IMM professional qualification (Diploma in Marketing Management) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in a similar position.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers.
- Possession of a clean class 4 driver’s license.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
