Willowvale Motor Industries Ltd is looking for a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Officer to join the company’s dynamic team. This position offers an attractive remuneration package and opportunities for professional growth within a renowned automotive manufacturer.

As the Human Resources Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources Manager and ensuring the effective management of the company’s human capital.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and coordination of human resources policies and procedures.
  • Support recruitment processes by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection process.
  • Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Facilitate employee training and development initiatives to enhance workforce skills and capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee satisfaction and engagement levels, proposing improvement strategies as needed.
  • Stay updated on employment legislation and industry best practices to ensure compliance and inform HR strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources or Social Sciences.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Zimbabwe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive HR matters.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office suite.
