Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Headmistress to lead their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to make a significant impact on the lives of young children.
As the Headmistress, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the pre-school, fostering a positive learning environment, and upholding the institution’s standards of excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the pre-school, ensuring the effective implementation of the institution’s vision and mission.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, including curriculum development, staff management, and student welfare.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of each child.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create and maintain a high-quality educational program.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring effective communication and partnership in their child’s education.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and professional development of teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.
- Monitor student progress, assess teaching effectiveness, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, such as educational authorities and community organizations, to enhance the pre-school’s offerings.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and research in early child development and education, incorporating best practices into the pre-school’s programs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Education degree, with Honours in Early Child Development.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as a pre-school headmaster/headmistress, demonstrating strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Passion for early child development and a dedication to providing high-quality education.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
