The Zimbabwe National Boxing and Wrestling Control Board (ZNBWCB) is an esteemed organization established by statute, responsible for overseeing and promoting the development and advancement of boxing, wrestling, mixed martial arts (MMA), and related activities in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe National Boxing and Wrestling Control Board (ZNBWCB) is looking for a dynamic Head of Talent and Administration to join its team in Harare. As the Head of Talent and Administration, you will play a crucial role in managing the HR and Administration Department, ensuring the smooth functioning of essential organizational processes.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of combat sports in Zimbabwe and be part of a passionate team dedicated to promoting talent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the HR and Administration Department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring seamless integration into the organization.
  • Establish and maintain employee records and personnel files, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including leave management, medical insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, keeping abreast of any changes or updates.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training and development needs, designing and delivering relevant programs.
  • Oversee administrative functions, including facilities management, office supplies, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or equivalent.
  • A holder of a postgraduate degree such as an MBA or equivalent will have an added advantage.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
