Job Description
The Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Centre (SIRDC) is a renowned Research & Development and Technology Transfer organization.

SIRDC is seeking a strategic Head of Marketing to help spread awareness of our impactful work. The successful candidate will own all marketing functions to position SIRDC as the premier resource for those seeking groundbreaking research solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Market the Centre’s research outputs and consultancy services to industry, commerce, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, strategies, promotional programs, and product concepts to increase revenue and market share.
- Lead the strategic execution of marketing campaigns to effectively reach target audiences.
- Develop brand-positioning plans, statements, advertising briefs, brand properties, and specifications to enhance brand recognition and perception.
- Create and implement marketing communication programs and campaigns for the Centre’s brands, evaluating their effectiveness and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Conduct market research studies and analyze customer insights to recommend appropriate pricing strategies.
- Evaluate marketing tactics and strategies to acquire new customers and drive growth.
- Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets to optimize resource allocation and maximize results.
- Manage media content creation and distribution to ensure consistent print and digital coverage of the Centre’s products and services.
- Prepare and present regular sales and marketing reports to Executive Management, providing insights and recommendations for further improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience directing multi-channel marketing efforts, including 2 years leading a department
- Demonstrated record of applying data-driven strategies to maximize visibility and return on promotion investments
- Expertise developing partnerships to expand market opportunities for technologically innovative products
- Strong leadership, analytical and creative skills to motivate high-performing teams
