This senior leadership role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Logistics Manager to join a progressive organization.

The successful candidate will oversee logistics, warehousing, transportation and customer service functions across divisions. Ideal for a results-driven professional seeking to enhance operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve service, quality and financial objectives across logistics operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of national depot network including warehouse layout and resource planning.
  • Maintain governance over fleet of vehicles, equipment and cargo handling resources through procurement, maintenance and replacement programs.
  • Monitor KPIs and produce analytical reports on operational performance, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage supply chain vendor relationships and negotiate competitive rates for subcontracting services as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement through logistics technology upgrades, change management programs and training initiatives for staff.
  • Ensure effective performance management, recruitment, development and retention of high-caliber logistics and transport professionals.
  • Liaise regularly with commercial teams to understand evolving business needs and customize logistics solutions.
  • Represent the company on industry associations and regulatory bodies to influence policy, obtain advisory support and raise the organizational profile.
  • Provide functional leadership, problem-solving expertise and strategic counsel to the executive on wide-ranging logistics and distribution matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a senior logistics management or consulting role
  • Proven success managing large-scale, complex distribution and/or transportation hubs
  • Extensive knowledge of fleet and cargo maintenance best practices
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
