Job Description
Valley Crest Academy is a leading private school in Harare that provides quality education to students from kindergarten to high school.
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable General Hand to join our team and provide support to our operations.
The General Hand will be responsible for providing general support to the school, including cleaning, maintenance, and other tasks as needed.
The successful candidate will work closely with the operations team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, and other areas of the school
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Collecting and disposing of rubbish
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the school
- Performing minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, repairing furniture, and fixing minor plumbing issues
- Assisting with the setup and preparation of events and activities
- Providing support to the operations team as needed
- Assisting with other tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least O level and a mature female
- Prior experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
