Nash Furnishers is looking for a skilled and dynamic Front Office Administrator to join its team in Harare. As a Front Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth functioning of the office.

Your responsibilities will include clerical duties, maintaining office supplies, handling inquiries, and ensuring professional etiquette at the reception area. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a renowned furniture company in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out various clerical duties, including answering phones, taking messages, and preparing documents.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure their availability for day-to-day activities.
  • Write memos, correspondence, invoices, receipts, spreadsheets, and other reports as required.
  • Handle basic inquiries from clients and visitors, providing them with assistance or redirecting them to the appropriate person.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, ensuring timely delivery to the intended recipients.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and maintain a high level of professional etiquette when interacting with clients and visitors.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide support to colleagues and assist them whenever necessary.
  • Utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and email software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express, to perform tasks effectively.
  • Contribute to the overall administrative functions of the office, ensuring a well-organized and productive work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration or a related role.
  • Formal qualification in office administration, secretarial work, or relevant training.
  • Proficiency in working with word processing, spreadsheets, and emails, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with members of the public.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
